Swedish for immigrants

The courses of Swedish for immigrants, SFI, are the foundation courses in the Swedish language and about Swedish society for adults who speak other languages than Swedish as their mother tongue.

Who can study SFI?

You have the right to study SFI if you:

are over 16 years old
do not have basic proficiency in Swedish
are a registered citizen in Täby, Danderyd, Vallentuna or Vaxholm
If you live in a another area/council (kommun), you may study SFI with the permission of your council.
